For the past few months, the Year Team in Saint Louis got to work on making a video about the city. It was a great time for us to see the city ourselves since moving here and find out what makes this place so great. I know that just driving around the city taking footage grew my heart for this place and made me want to see even more people here come to know the Lord. Along with seeing the great attractions of Saint Louis, we also experienced seeing the impoverished side of the city with traveling through East Saint Louis and going downtown and through different lower income neighborhoods. There is a great need in this city in a practical and a spiritual way.The Year Team here is going to be doing more city outreach on a weekly basis to help this great city. We've been working at a local elementary school helping with whatever they need. It may seem small, but any act you can do in your local community helps so much.
